Jaguar XJ (1990)
Jaguar XJR (XJ40) 1990
The Jaguar XJR 4.0 (XJ40) was the first model in the brand’s history to bear the “R” badge – a preview of the future high-performance Jaguars. Compared to the standard XJ40 versions, the XJR featured stiffer suspension, revised styling, and a sharper steering setup. What makes this particular example truly exceptional is its 5-speed manual gearbox, offered in very limited numbers – according to available data, only a few hundred manual XJRs were ever produced, primarily for the European market.
This car was originally sold in Italy and was imported to Poland in 2017. Since then, it has been carefully maintained by an enthusiast and underwent an extensive mechanical restoration at a specialist workshop focused on classic Jaguars. It stands out with a timeless and elegant colour combination: Solent Blue Metallic (JFJ) paired with a light Magnolia leather interior (AEM) and walnut wood trim.
The current mileage is just 106,000 km, and both its technical and visual condition reflect a carefully maintained ownership history.
