SAAB 900 TURBO COMMEMORATIVE EDITION 1993
The Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition is the final, limited series of the classic 900 model, created specifically for the American market to mark the end of its production. Only 500 convertible units were produced, each featuring distinctive stylistic elements – metallic Nova Black paint, dedicated alloy wheels with polished lips, a light-colored soft top, special upholstery, and a walnut dashboard trim.
The example presented here was imported to Poland from its first owner in the United States. After purchase, it underwent a comprehensive restoration, which included repair of the rear body section and a full respray – done according to the original factory specification. At the same time, a complete mechanical rebuild was carried out – the car is fully functional and ready to drive. Extensive documentation of the restoration process is available.
The vehicle is complete and retains all its characteristic equipment elements, including the original tonneau cover in the same color as the upholstery and the aforementioned alloy wheels. The interior is trimmed in elegant light brown leather with dark piping – typical for this edition – complemented by wood accents that create a pleasant contrast with the exterior color. The equipment list includes, among others, a power-operated convertible top, air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, cruise control, and a period-correct Blaupunkt radio.
All Saab 900 Commemorative Edition models left the factory with a manual gearbox and a red APC controller in the engine, allowing them to achieve 185 horsepower. As a result, these cars are now considered among the most desirable classics from the brand, representing both Saab’s engineering philosophy and a pop culture icon in the automotive world. A rarely seen example preserved in original specification, thoroughly restored and fully equipped – this is a truly unique offering on the market.

AUCTION FEE
1. The Auction Organizer adds an Auction Fee to the winning bid. This fee is part of the final bid price of the Lot and amounts to 1% of the winning bid, but not less than PLN 2,000 (two thousand zloty) for vehicles. For Lots other than vehicles, valued up to PLN 5,000 (five thousand zloty), the auction fee is PLN 100. The auction fee also applies to off-auction sales if the Lot was not sold at auction.
2. The Final Price, including the Auction Fee, includes VAT.
3. For Vehicles registered in countries other than Poland, the Buyer is liable for any excise tax and other legally required fees, unless otherwise agreed by the Consignor and Buyer. Other taxes and fees may be added to the Purchase Price if this is specifically indicated in the Auction Catalog.
