A Classy Investment – the Mercedes W111 Coupé as an Investment
W111 series coupés are currently among the most sought-after classic cars in the European and American markets. Their combination of luxury, reliability, elegance, and rarity makes them not only desirable to collectors but also a sound investment.
Versions in factory-fresh condition, with full documentation and original equipment – like the one presented here – are achieving increasingly higher prices at classic car auctions and are eagerly displayed at prestigious automotive events. Currently, this is the only example of its kind in Poland – crafted with such meticulous care.
Prices for a 1963 Mercedes W111 Coupé in perfect condition:
At auctions and private sales, prices can reach €100,000–150,000, and in exceptional cases even more. Of course, only for cars in very good, original condition with a documented history. Such prices are not achieved by restored cars that deviate from the original specifications (and unfortunately, there are many such cars on the market).
What influences the price?
Original condition – a very professional, original restoration.
Vehicle history – documented mileage, known previous owners, service history.
Equipment and version – e.g., color scheme (body and interior, first production run, engine).
Country of origin – European cars often have a higher value.
