Mercedes W123 230E – 1982
Mileage: 116,000 km.
The car has had one owner since new in Austria.
- In 1996, the engine was replaced at a Mercedes dealership with the same displacement and with 2,000 km on the clock (noted in the BRIEF).
- In 2001, the owner passed away and the car was deregistered and put in a garage.
- In 2018, the car was recovered by an employee of this company – the father of a good friend of mine – and brought to Poland.
- The oil, filters, brake master cylinder, brake lines, battery, and fuel pump were replaced, and the chrome door trim was added. The car has 108,000 km on the clock.
- I purchased it in 2019. The original Michelin winter tires will be replaced with Barum summer tires. In 2023, the front springs will be replaced with red H&R 30mm ones, as well as the tie rod ends and the center one. The oil will be changed every two years (approximately 1,500 km). In 2025, a new battery and oil dipstick will be installed (the plastic tip on the dipstick is broken).
- The interior is intact – the left-right door stop and the driver's side interior door handle need replacing to be completely happy.
- The upholstery is in perfect condition, and the dashboard is crack-free. Complete interior, set of rubber and fabric floor mats
- Mechanically, no issues, suspension without signs of wear, slight play in the steering wheel, right brake caliper needs checking, brake pads and discs are in good condition.
- Paintwork with some visible chips, some door seals are cracked.
- Chrome elements in very good condition.
- Damage to the right corner of the bumper (a second one was purchased used).
- All windows are original.
- All electrical components are functional.
- Central locking is functional.
- One key included, complete factory first aid kit, warning triangle on the trunk lid.
The car has been garaged and used only in the summer.

1. The Auction Organizer adds an Auction Fee to the winning bid. This fee is part of the final bid price of the Lot and amounts to 1% of the winning bid, but not less than PLN 2,000 (two thousand zloty) for vehicles. For Lots other than vehicles, valued up to PLN 5,000 (five thousand zloty), the auction fee is PLN 100. The auction fee also applies to off-auction sales if the Lot was not sold at auction.
2. The Final Price, including the Auction Fee, includes VAT.
3. For Vehicles registered in countries other than Poland, the Buyer is liable for any excise tax and other legally required fees, unless otherwise agreed by the Consignor and Buyer. Other taxes and fees may be added to the Purchase Price if this is specifically indicated in the Auction Catalog.
