Ford Mustang (1969)

This 1969 Ford Mustang arrived from California in 2016, in very good, complete condition.

Under the hood is a reinforced 302 cid V8 engine with an automatic transmission.

The car underwent a restoration at US66 Garage, completed in the winter of 2019.
The Maroon Mustang left the factory in 1969. After 50 years, it was repainted in Ruby Red, a Mustang color with ceramic coating.

All chrome elements were painted satin black.
Several badges and the steering wheel were covered in bronze gold, perfectly completing the look.

The duck tail, paint, black side stripes, and black hood add a distinctive character, and the sound completes the look.

During the restoration process, the Mustang underwent several modifications:
Engine and transmission: Assembled with performance parts by VPS Motor
Suspension: Ride Tech streetGRIP
Power steering: Borgeson power steering
Exhaust: Magna Flow
Interior: Original bench, reupholstered along with the headliner.
The dashboard, gauges, and electrical system were restored; no shortcuts were taken.
The chassis received anti-corrosion protection.
Wheels: American Racing rims, tire size: 225/15 R16

The car was built from the ground up with thoughtful attention to detail and craftsmanship.

The project aimed to rebuild the car while preserving its period originality, while also improving some components to make it safer and more comfortable, and to enhance its character.
The Ruby Red paint looks stunning in the sun. The black satin, ducktail, and black stripes add a distinctive character to the car.

The sound is incredible. The 302 CID automatic transmission works perfectly, pulls well, and drives dynamically.
Additional features include the RideTech streetGrip suspension. Progressive springs, adjustable shock absorbers, and composite springs provide a responsive ride and comfortable handling. Front disc brakes, power steering, and power brakes enhance comfort and safety.

The car is from my private collection, registered, and insured.

I have pre-restoration photos and documentation from the process.
